On a recent journey to the shore I was inspired by the storms coming through along the east coast as a surfer I am always drawn to the water edge whenever I have an opportunity, while capturing images of the debris left behind from the rough seas. I became transfixed by the patterns left behind as the surf went in and out from the shore leaving behind what seemed like abstract life forms or maybe it was just my interpretation of the lines,shades and textures.
I put it down to having watched the latest offering of the Star Trek movie the night before.The textures and shapes left on the surface of the shoreline were representative in my mind at the time of some kind of alien civilization transported for a brief moment to somehow speak or converse a message to anyone lucky enough to be in the right place at the right...
I am happy they choose me to bring their message to you.
