Psycho House on the move

I recently received word from the man who is featured in one of my recent images titlied "Psycho Surfer" that the house featured was recently relocated to safer dryer land not far from it's original place on the shores of Rodanthe. The house also known as "Serendipity" featured in the movie " "Nights at Rodanthe" starring Richard Gere and Diane Lane was placed on a trailer and moved thanks to the new owners Ben & Debbie Huss.

May they enjoy their new home along with the history that this old house has brought to the area.

Breaking Apart Series

Welcome to 2010 and may it be a successful and joyful year for all.

To bring in the new year I have recently added a new series which I am very excited about as it brings another dimension to my existing body of work.

Captured on a extended break to the Outer Banks of North Carolina. I found myself drawn to the beach for inspiration and lo and behold I found it in the form of a deconstructed beach house. The geometric shapes of the decaying foundations and supports worked so well giving one a false sense of security above the turbulent water below.
